Local attorney Carol Cioe Klyman, a shareholder at regional law firm Shatz, Schwartz and Fentin, P.C., will be speaking at an upcoming seminar on legal, financial and medical issues surrounding the MassHealth program. Attorney Klyman will speak on a number of issues related to estate recovery claims and client representation in MassHealth matters.
MassHealth Update 2019, a HalfMoon Education, Inc. seminar, will also feature presentations on MassHealth qualification and application strategies, long-term care insurance, continuum of care issues and long-term care planning in the probate court, among other topics. The seminar will be held on Wednesday, October 23 at 8 a.m. at the Courtyard by Marriott Natick, at 342 Speen Street.
A Westhampton resident, Attorney Klyman also concentrates her practice in elder law, estate planning, special needs trust planning, preparation of estate and gift tax returns, estate settlement, guardianships, and trust and estates litigation. She is editor-in-chief of the NAELA Journal, a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estates Counsel, a fellow of the American Bar Foundation, a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and past vice president and board member of the Massachusetts chapter of NAELA. Attorney Klyman graduated with magna cum laude honors from Western New England University School of Law in 1996.
