Attorney Steven Weiss, a resident of Longmeadow, concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial and consumer bankruptcy, reorganization and litigation. Attorney Weiss supervises the firm’s bankruptcy, reorganization and workout practice, represents creditors, debtors, and others in both commercial and consumer bankruptcy cases throughout Massachusetts. He is a graduate of the Boston University School of Law (1984) and he also attended Michigan State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts (1980), and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1976-1977). He has been recognized for his legal success by selection to the Super Lawyers list (2007-Present) and The Best Lawyers in America (2008-Present).
Attorney Weiss is a member of the Hampden County and Massachusetts Bar Associations, American Bankruptcy Institute and the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees. He has been a member of the private panel of Chapter 7 Trustees for the District of Massachusetts since 1987, and also serves as a Chapter 11 Trustee. He speaks regularly at educational seminars on bankruptcy practice.
