Steven Weiss was a featured speaker at the Massachusetts Bar Association’s annual Western Massachusetts bankruptcy seminar. The event was held on Tuesday, October 18, 2011, at the Western New England University School of Law.
Weiss spoke about the effect of a recent Supreme Court opinion, Schwab v. Reilly, and other recent cases affecting debtors’ exemption claims in personal bankruptcy cases. The title of the speech will be Exemption Updates: New Homestead and Personal Property Coverage Issues.

He supervises the firm’s bankruptcy, reorganization and workout practice, and represents creditors, debtors, and others in both commercial and consumer bankruptcy cases throughout Massachusetts.
